Many applications of ACT! would like to address correspondence to a husband and wife, investor and trustee, or other combination of names - yet ACT! makes this difficult, tedious and error-prone. With Joint Salutation, you can automatically create the value for such a field.
The default operation reads the "First Name" field, connects using " and " (without the quotes) then reads the "Spouse" field, storing the results in the "Salutation" field. So, for instance, if your contact's name is George Washington, and the Spouse field shows Martha, after running Joint Salutation, the "Salutation" field would be "George and Martha".
You can choose any field from the Contact, Company or Group record (supplied as part of each ACT! database, or user-defined) to hold the results and to provide the values to use. You can also choose any "connector" you want (such as " & " or "/" or whatever).
Use an intuitive "wizard" interface to define any number of "triggers" to activate Joint Salutation. Put a trigger on a field activity (enter, change, leave), toolbar icon, menu item or other ACT! "event" (such as New Contact or switch Group record). Each trigger can operate on the "current" record (contact, company, group), or current Lookup (of contacts, companies, groups).

To install Joint Salutation in free "trial" mode:
- Download the installation file
(JointSalutationInstaller.exe),
and remember where you saved it.
- Shut down all running programs.
- Run the installation file from where you saved it in step 1.
- Note: All products install into the \tnhg folder and subfolders within the Windows "Program Files" folder.

The New Hampton Group has developed a number of ACT! add-on utilities and products that enhance ACT!'s capabilities. These products are available for free download as "trial" software - after installation, they will run in "crippled" mode (only a limited number of records per execution) or only for a limited amount of time (usually 30 days after installation) or for a limited number of uses (30 or 50 executions).
Any product can be "registered" by clicking the "Register Now" button in the upper left corner of the application window. Click the "Print Reg Form" button to display a registration form. Copy the Hardware ID and Software ID values onto the Registration form and provide the requested payment information.
