A quick and easy way to assign a single Access List to all the contacts in the current lookup

In ACT!2005 (and later) Premium, the access to individual contacts is controlled via an “Access List”, which names the users and teams (of users) who can see the contact. The users included in a contact’s Access List can view and update information about that contact. However, ACT!2005 (and later) will only assign this Access List to a single contact. If you want to assign an identical Access List to another contact, you must again go through the process of selecting all the members of the Access List and assign it to the other contact.
ACT!2005 Limited Access Manager provides a way to select the users and teams that comprise an Access List, and then assign that Access List to all the contacts in the “current lookup” of contacts, without repeating the process.

To install Limited Access Manager in free "trial" mode:
- Download the installation file
(Install_LimitedAccessManager.exe),
and remember where you saved it.
- Shut down all running programs.
- Run the installation file from where you saved it in step 1.
- Note: All products install into the \tnhg folder and subfolders within the Windows "Program Files" folder.

The New Hampton Group has developed a number of ACT! add-on utilities and products that enhance ACT!'s capabilities. These products are available for free download as "trial" software - after installation, they will run in "crippled" mode (only a limited number of records per execution) or only for a limited amount of time (usually 30 days after installation) or for a limited number of uses (30 or 50 executions).
Any product can be "registered" by clicking the "Register Now" button in the upper left corner of the application window. Click the "Print Reg Form" button to display a registration form. Copy the Hardware ID and Software ID values onto the Registration form and provide the requested payment information.
