Some applications require that only certain people be allowed to view the contents of some fields. Now you can store the data for those fields in encrypted form, so that no one can see the “real”, “in the clear” value without using the Encrypted Field program. And Encrypted Field will only display that “in the clear” value when the user has Administrator level privileges!
Encrypted Field offers the ability for an administrator to specify a value for an encrypted field, and once the value has been saved, it will only be displayed when the user has administrator privileges.

To install Encrypted Field in free "trial" mode:
- Download the installation file
(Install_EncryptedField.exe),
and remember where you saved it.
- Shut down all running programs.
- Run the installation file from where you saved it in step 1.
- Note: All products install into the c:\program files\tnhg folder.

The New Hampton Group has developed a number of ACT! add-on utilities and products that enhance ACT!'s capabilities. These products are available for free download as "trial" software - after installation, they will run in "crippled" mode (only a limited number of records per execution) or only for a limited amount of time (30 days after installation) or for a limited number of uses (30 or 50 executions).
