Auto Fill ACT! Fields

Automatically load any number of ACT! fields with values determined by the contents of some other field.
|

Now you can speed up your data entry tasks by setting up Auto Fill ACT! Fields specifications for any number of fields in your ACT! databases. Tell Auto Fill ACT! Fields which field holds the "independent" value (such as the Territory) and which fields depend on that value (such as Sales Rep, Sales Office, and Region). Then provide the series of determining and dependent values (such as CA/Sally Seller/SF/West). Set the exit trigger on each of the determining fields, and you’ll never have to fill in the dependent fields again.
You can set up Auto Fill ACT! Fields to work on any number of fields in a database. You can include Group Field Auto Fill ACT! Fields specifications as well as Contact Field specifications. Specifications are database-specific, so you can vary them from database to database, (but they are easy to copy from one database to another, if you want to use the same set in multiple databases). And, since the specifications are stored as part of the ACT! database, they synchronize along with your other ACT! data.

To install Auto Fill ACT! Fields in free "trial" mode:
- Download the installation file
(Install_AutoFill.exe),
and remember where you saved it.
- Shut down all running programs.
- Run the installation file from where you saved it in step 1.
- Note: All products install into the c:\program files\tnhg folder.

The New Hampton Group has developed a number of ACT! add-on utilities and products that enhance ACT!'s capabilities. These products are available for free download as "trial" software - after installation, they will run in "crippled" mode (only a limited number of records per execution) or only for a limited amount of time (30 days after installation) or for a limited number of uses (30 or 50 executions).
Any product can be "registered" by clicking the "Register Now" button in the upper left corner of the application window. Click the "Print Reg Form" button to display a registration form. Copy the User Code 1 and User Code 2 values onto the Registration form and provide the requested payment information.
